Biking in the News

No, did not say "Biking in the Nude." We said "Biking in the News." If you have your eyes open you'll see plenty is being written about biking these day. In today's news a 20-year old riding his bike across the U.S. stopped at a Subway in Decorah, Iowa on his way from Oregon to Florida. Good bit of progress being made there.

Another story is about a man who accidentally shot himself, but told the police he was shot by a gang. We recommend keeping your pistols unloaded when riding in these parts. Some of our bike trails, as beautiful as they are, are a bit off the beaten path.

There are quite a few stories this week about mountain biking. Whether it's the Mojave or the North Shore, mountain biking is a great diversion from your usual nine to five. Then again, we recommend all kinds of riding for clearing your head from the gronk and slush that fills it many of our days.

Get some exercise this weekend. Drop in, rent a bike and hit the trail. We've got everything you'll need.

  1. Most of the people hit due to lack of biking knowledge and than blame the others. So they must learn biking first and than go on a long drive, I see some reviews on a biking blog that was awesome.

  2. If you are new to mountain biking, start cycling at a steady speed for 30 minutes most days of the week. As your endurance builds, cycle for longer periods each session. mountain bike boots
