Hiking & Biking Trails Open

The signs of spring are all around us. A breaking story in the local news this week: Duluth area hiking & biking trails are now open. Eagles and other migratory birds have been returning. Bears have wakened from hibernation. In short, the 2010 fresh air season is now underway.

If you haven't been in the neighborhood lately, come by and see the facelift our Carlton Bike Rental & Repair shop has been receiving. We're simply thrilled to be here with everything you could ever need to have a fun-filled family getaway in our "living Northland." Plan an outing with us. See what Minnesota looks like off the beaten path. Plan a dozen outings. See how our spring compares with summer. Be sure to take in the wild, vibrant autumn colors as well.

Progress Report

Whoa! It's April, and we're getting ready to roll.

The sunny weather has our hearts a-pumpin' as we rush to ready ourselves for the new season. It's springtime everybody!

The retro bikes are here. The new porch roof has been added. And we're working on getting an outdoor sound system for music. Carlton Bike Rental & Repair is a-hoppin' and we're hopin' you'll be joining us soon.

Something really cool this year, we're getting baskets for your bikes so you can carry extras for that bike trail picnic or adventure you're planning. There will be some really neat things in our art and gift shop when you end your day, too. We can hardly keep up with all the really neat ideas we're dreaming up to make your biking experiences memorable.

In the meantime, have a nice Easter Weekend. We'll see you soon!
